LABEL Ritu Kumar’s ‘vintage sportswear’, at Lakme Fashion Week Mumbai, garnered a long lasting admiration and created quite a stellar impact on wish lists for wardrobe fundamentals. LABEL’s style essence speaks about a certain individuality yet is incredibly connected with the network of people who wear it.
LABEL’s theme for the season was sportswear inspired street style. It blended Parisian styling & Indian textiles in a fashion that has become synonymous as the brands DNA.Some of them are also the key pieces from its Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
This pret collection plays with a palette of colorful and soft tones, creating a must have collection for next summer. Outfits included off-shoulder tunics, smart maxi dresses, printed skirts and playful dresses. There were a lot of summer whites and pastels in the beginning of the line, culminating in a splash of tribal inspired prints to cap the show.
Showstopper Kriti Sanon brought a vivacious energy to the ramp in a dress, which is the pick of the LABEL Autumn/ Winter ’16 collection. The dress, inspired the patterns & motifs of Kashmiri weaving, looked exquisite on her.
