Lips Don’t Dry!

Lips Don’t Dry!

That nip in the air, those cracks and flakes on the lip. How do you get a picture perfect smile with chapped lippies? Lip balms are not only important to hydrate and moisturise your lips but also form the best base for matte lipsticks. From sticks that protect you from UV rays to those infused with Indian spices to heal restore skin’s elasticity. Ever since it hit the store shelves, chapsticks have taken the market storm.
It is now available in every possible beauty brand, vouching its worth, confusing its consumers as to what will actually be a good buy to protect one’s delicate lips from the harsh winds this winter season.
But worry not, BlabberCat puckers up and slathers on with the list of our favourite lip-balms for the season.

1. Maybelline:

2015’s most popular range of BaLips only keeps getting better as it frequently introduces new colours.
Its wide range, encompassing five tinted and two sheer balms makes it the hottest thing in every girl’s handbag. They’re affordable, and can easily be worn in place of a proper lipstick.
Gliding like butter, and offering the much required SPF protection, BaLips lives up to its name, softening them in less than two days.

2. VLCC:

Recently, VLCC launched a Lip Balm range for both Men and Women. The Lovable Lips range for women are available in 8 flavours like Peach, Rose, Strawberry, Cherry, Orange, Mango, Almond and Honey. The Men’s Lip Balm is enriched with a blend of Vitamin E, Almond and Jojoba oils, fragrance-free and easy to use. Both the range for men and women soothe and nourish the lips leaving them soft, supple and hydrated.
With VLCC’s Lovable Lips in your bag-pack, its that time of the season when you can bid goode to chapped lips.

3. The Body Shop:

My personal favourite when it comes to chapsticks has always been The Body Shop Vitamin E Lip Care Stick. Its non-scented, and maintains just the right amount of moisture. I’ve always liked nude shades, and this chapstick keeps my lips simple yet appealing to look at. Also, the fact that it comes with SPF protection makes it so much better for regular use, especially because I use it during summers too.

4. L’occtaine:

Not-tinted, non-shimmer and shine free, L’occtaine’s Ultra Rich Shea Butter Lip Balm focusses at doing only what its meant to do, and does it in the best possible way. Enriched with natural ingredients that restore the softness and suppleness to one’s lips, this product will be something you wouldn’t mind paying for; it lasts much longer on one’s lips than other chapsticks, and is extremely light and moisturising.

5. Keihl’s:

It has always been a sought-after brand when it comes to buying beauty products. Therefore, I was never really apprehensive when I picked up its simple Lip Balm.
Available in simple tube packaging and in three different colours, it comes with SPF 15, as well as UVA and UVB protection.
Keihl’s lip balm hydrates, soothes and nourishes one’s lips like no other, and Blabbercat loves its effectiveness and simplicity.
