The boho spirit doesn’t see the day and time, the traveller doesn’t stop for anyone unless someone needs help, no good conversations flow out of formality, love blooms every enjoyable moment and everything around makes you feel at ease, let go and breathe. ‘The Midsummer Night’s Dream’ was hosted at the terrace of The Corner Courtayrd and the visual story-teller for the evening was Danielle Valmont – text Astha Modi
Georgia’s expertise in wedding photography structures the intangible chemistry between two people even without wording their story. The colours around usually turns us into an admirer but it challenges Daniel to pause the moment as it is, in the best way and magically be yours forever. BlabberCat rates this boho-sundowner cocktails and supper as our favourite event in the new year and already know that it’ll be difficult to top it in our memory bank. Last time seen on ‘Dinner with Strangers’ Megha Agarwal is known to create global gourmet trends instead of bringing them here. A table full of 15 creative minds, expats and foodies gathered together for the most underated celebration – freedom to life.
Make up and Hair Daniell and Bridgette Jones (L-R)
Fresh flower tiaras were just the beginning to the surprises Bridgette and Daniel had for us. Daisies and Jerboas on old brown twigs and roses on green stems twirled to make a crown, perched on ever boho-ista’s head.

You can never have too many pillows when creating an indoor or outdoor boho oasis. You can accent the room with a variety of styles, including lantern wall sconces, floor or table lanterns, ottomans or a triad with a hanging lantern, floral tapestry are all a seaway of life.
Music, menu and invite designs – Chai Town
Intermitten strains of music came dancing upon into the evening. As the lights got dimmer, the guitar strings weaved the perfect Coldplay playlist. The wayfarers and boho queens listened in wonder to the sounds that rose above the laughs and kisses around the table. The seductive shades of crimson blended with vintage pastels for invites and illustrations. The laid-back bunch love all things tie-dye and suzani.
LataSita – Meghna Nayak’s label dedicated to Bohemian designs and recycled fabrics and materials.
The average woman was wearing a tiered cotton maxi skirt; a mix of wood, metal and woven colored bangles; and flat beaded sandals tied around her ankle. “She’s 100 percent bohemian head to toe, inside and out.” But, her boho spirit doesn’t stop at her sartorial choices,” said designer Meghna Nayak who uses recycle clothing for her apparels.
TCC with their menu best
The special menu was inspired the theme but stuck to the award-winning eatery’s signature style. Authenticity here is not manipulated and the presentation is appetising enough to tantalise the taste buds. The menu compiled a wide boho culture globally – Red wine poached Pear salad, Beer batter vegetable Tempura, Zuccini and Lentil Fritters with pita bread, Charred Asparagus, fresh peppers and Feta in an organic ragi wrap. Fresh Buffalo mozzarella and roasted Aubergines with rosemary flavoured Focaccia bread. And last but the most favourite – Eggs on the Beach – Poached eggs on a bed of crispy bacon and crab cakes, topped with hollandaise sauce.
Organic spices – Beej Mrinalika Bhanjdeo
From Aavla cocktails to turmeric spices, TCC infused a fresh organic take to the Boho evening. Our favourite creation was the organic ragi wrap. This collaboration did prove that healthy can be tasty. And the good news is that the entire Beej organic line is now available at TCC for sale.
