The new kid on the block Surbhi Pansari

The new kid on the block Surbhi Pansari

The new kid on the block will settle for nothing less than fashion for any occasion and don’t even try settling terms with him because you don’t want to awaken disaster before an important day of your life. Try to think from your little one’s point of view and put yourself in his tiny shoes.

BlabberCat is in conversation with Surbhi Pansari, founder and designer at Surbhi Pansari for men’s wear. With just a week to go for Rakhi, we shortlist FIVE kid’s couture shopping tips and trends:

Like Father, like Son

Make matching outfits for both the men in your life. There’s nothing more flattering for a boy than to look like his father. You’ll often catch your son trying to imitate your husband in various ways such as attempting to shave, pretending to read the newspaper and even being possessive towards you. If he gets to wear the miniature version of his father’s outfit, he will feel like a boss and not only that, the two of them will look like they’re a team.

Pop colours

Let their wardrobes range from  orange, purple, yellow and all the colours of the rainbow. At their age they can get away with anything so why add boring colours to them. Oh and one more purpose gets solved; in a crowd it will be easy to spot him.

The Gentleman

If you have a son you’ll  notice that he loves to look like a gentleman. He thinks he’s more important, grown- up and has more value in other people’s eyes. So let him indulge and buy him various separates such as waistcoats,  jowahar jackets, ties, pocket squares, etc.

Indian

Is it just me or does everyone find it adorable when little boys wear  patiala , kurtas and sherwanis. They look like a Royal Prince !! . Indian wear is not complicated nowadays with pre-stitched and pre-draped outfits.

Prints

Paisleys, statement prints, bold patterns, florals, and Indian prints are trending in kid’s couture. An orange waistcoat with blue print on the inside or just in the collar can add quirky twists to the look. And Surbhi Pansari is best known for customising looks.

About Surbhi Pansari the brand

A traditional twist fine balanced with global sensibilities is what sets apart brand Surbhi Pansari in the category of luxe menswear. Futuristic – Unusual – Exclusive; designer Surbhi Pansari brings forth an atypical range of smart apparels for men which concocts lot of theatrics as dramatic cuts, bold silhouettes, hand embroidery and unique experiments. Formerly known as Esquire, this brand focuses on signature designs immaculate and inimitable.

Meet the designer

Being a Science Major, Surbhi was always attracted to colours, cuts and silhouettes. Hence, she soon realised her calling and decided to hone her skills thereafter. She enrolled herself into a professional course in designing at NIFD, Kolkata. Post this, she spent her two years at Raymond, honing and sharpening her skills at men’s wear. At Raymond, she received a lot of appreciations for her designs which drove her to launch her own label for men’s wear.
